We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for my mum’s 70th Birthday, what can i say apart from wow. We had so much fun and didn’t leave the house all weekend. The pool was fantastic, plenty of films watched in the cinema room and countless games of table tennis and pool. The house is so big and proved great for hide and seek! We have booked again for Christmas

We’ve just returned home after the most amazing weekend celebrating my daughters 18th birthday and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better house for it 🩷

There were 11 adults and 2 children staying and the house had more than enough space for everyone to relax comfortably without ever feeling cramped. It was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a full weekend away and was perfect for entertaining family and friends.

Phil was fantastic from start to finish — always on hand if we needed anything and really helpful throughout our stay.

The indoor pool was a huge hit all weekend, especially with all the inflatables and decorations, and the cinema room created one of the most emotional and special moments of the whole celebration. The large social spaces, beautiful layout and overall atmosphere made it the perfect place to create unforgettable memories together.

We honestly had the best weekend and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a special place for a family celebration or group getaway. Thank you again for helping make Emma’s 18th so memorable ✨

We had the most wonderful stay at this holiday home and honestly did not want to leave! The indoor pool was the absolute highlight of the trip and was enjoyed by all three generations of our family, from morning swims to late evening fun. (Its also a lot bigger than the photos)The house itself had everything you could possibly need and more. The games kept everyone entertained, and the cinema room with Sky Sports was a huge hit with the adults. Every detail made the stay feel comfortable, relaxing, and special.It’s rare to find somewhere that genuinely caters for all ages, but this house did exactly that. We made so many lovely memories with our families that were long overdue, and it made the whole trip even more meaningful. We would definitely book again in the future and highly recommend it for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Here for the weekend to celebrate my 60th with family . The kids absolutely loved the pool & cinema room . The sun was shinning so had a bbq Phil the host cleaned it out for us to use . Nothing was too much trouble . Had a fantastic weekend. Comfortable beds plenty of towels to use . Would definitely go back x

What a wonderful place for a family celebration! We enjoyed a weekend celebrating my husband’s special birthday with our children and grandchildren aged from 8 to 17 and everyone enjoyed themselves. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very kind to us so we weren’t able to play darts and table tennis, but we made the most of the pool and jacuzzi, the pool table and the cinema room. The conservatory is a great place to eat together and we enjoyed takeaways there from Parmars and from the Italian restaurant. Details and menus for nearby places are in a folder in the Vicarage. The lounge was a great chill zone and we also enjoyed playing some board games there (some are provided but we had brought our own). Very well equipped kitchen but we didn’t do much proper cooking! Great communication with Phil from the time of booking and he didn’t seem to get stressed by my questions (so no you don’t need to take pool towels, dishwasher pods, or washing up liquid!!)

This was our second visit to the Vicarage and it didn’t disappoint. We went as a family for a weekend break with ages from 83 right down to 6 and no one was ready to leave after our 3 days. The pool and cinema room really steal the show they just add that extra to the whole experience. The house is really well equipped and there are plenty of good takeaways within a short drive. We utilised Morrisons supermarket and the local one stop shop for cupboard fillers so you could make this stay as cheap or as expensive as you wanted. The location is lovely and so peaceful. We hope to return soon as I don’t think we would get bored of this house and all it has to offer. Massive thanks to Phil and Catherine for everything

Wonderful birthday/retirement weekend with family. (Ages 4 to 73 years) We had a great time in an extremely comfortable house which was warm and inviting. All beds comfortable, equipment top class. Never left the house but made full use of swimming pool, games room and cinema room. The grandchildren were kept busy!! Lovely individual outdoor areas which are all very sheltered. Full size table tennis table and darts board in one. Self catered for 13 all weekend. No problem with parking 5 cars. Communication great with Philip both before and during stay. We are booking again for next year (special request from family!)

Excellent house for a party. Phil was very accommodating to letting us check in earlier and the check out at 2 pm is excellent. Lots to do in the house, swimming , play pool , board games, cinema room , karaoke. Close by amenities including Mrs B’s sandwich shop a must ! And the Italian- Casa Luli was excellent ! Would definitely stay again

Just had a weekend at the vicarage we had a fabulous time.It was everything and more than we expected we was greeted by Phil who showed us round and explained everything.The pool was brilliant the grandchildren and adults loved it.They even left pool towels as well as bathroom towels there was a washing machine and tumble dryer so always dried for next dip .Would definitely recommend and do a return visit.Thank you for a brilliant weekend

A beautiful holiday home with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, cinema room, and pool table — we made full use of the luxury facilities, switched off completely, and truly unwound. Phil, our host, was fantastic.Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We had such an amazing stay here for my mother in law’s 70th birthday. There were 7 adults, 2 children and a baby and there was so much room for everyone to be able to eat together and relax together too. The swimming pool & jacuzzi were the perfect temperature and were well used by all over the weekend. We also really enjoyed the pool table and the cinema room too.The beds are all comfortable and everywhere was clean and it’s the kind of home where you feel instantly comfortable.The kitchen is super well stocked with lots of pots, pans, crockery, glasses, mugs & cutlery. There are 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, a really large fridge freezer, a microwave etc.Phil was such a great host, very communicative and friendly and the damages bond was repaid the same day as departure too.We would definitely like to come back again – working on a plan for next year already…

Absolutely top notch place for a big family. Super clean and tidy, luxury fittings. Cinema room and pool are next level good. We will be back again.
