Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends

We have been welcoming groups of families and friends to our former family home, The Vicarage, since 2013.

With it’s indoor pool, hot-tub, cinema room and large communal indoor and outdoor spaces you might not go out at all! But if you do, The Vicarage is perfectly positioned for days out, with the towns and cities of Leeds, Halifax, Bradford and Huddersfield less than 30 minutes away and popular tourist destinations of York, Holmfirth, Hebden Bridge, Haworth and Manchester less than an hour away.

Most of our guests are multi-generational family groups of up to 14 in number coming together for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary. In the school holidays we have groups staying weekend, mid-week or full weeks. Of course The Vicarage is an amazing house to spend Christmas or New Year too. Finally out of school holidays we offer mid-week deals for as little as £249 per night for smaller groups of 3 to 6 in number that have the whole house including the pool, jacuzzi and cinema exclusively for themselves.

We stayed over the Easter weekend, a family of 8 adults and 6 children. What a great place, the Easter bunny had plenty of space to do his treasure hunt for the kids and plenty of space in the wine fridge for the adults.. The pool and cinema room got plenty of use, and the safety features are spot on. Although there were 14 of us it never felt crowded. Phil is a great host and the house is a credit to him. We will be back!

We had a fantastic weekend at , The Vicarage for our daughters 40th 6 adults and 5 children. The pool was well used we had to hide the key or they would have been in at 6am 🤣. The whole house is lovely and spacious. We will definitely go back.

We have just spent Friday to Sunday at this amazing house for my 70th birthday. We took our 2 children and their partners, our granddaughter and partner, 2 teenage granddaughters and 2 younger granddaughters. We all loved the house with the fantastic pool and jacuzzi, the cinema room was a great hit with everyone. It was a bitter cold weekend but we were warm and cosy, it was fantastic to access the pool without having to go outside. Huge kitchen with everything you could wish for, 2 dishwashers, large American fridge freezer. Masses of crockery, cutlery, glasses, cups etc. Huge conservatory where we all ate, again it was lovely and warm. Phil was lovely and was always available for any questions we had. All towels, toiletries were provided so no need to take your own. Loved, loved this place xx

We stayed at The Vicarage Holiday Home for the weekend 1st November to the 3rd 2024 , for my sons 30th..Wow ! What a beautiful Home . We had nine adults and two six year olds , plenty of room for all . The pool and jacuzzi of course was the main attraction, we couldn’t get the children out or me out of the jacuzzi. 🥰. The conservatory was big enough for all of us to dine together, which was lovely . The house was warm and cosy . The cinema room is next level whether you’re watching cartoons or a movie . The house has everything you need and more and Phil the owner is nice and very helpful. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back to this beautiful house.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this fabulous holiday home. We were a group of 9 adults and 3 babies aged 2 and under. The home offers a large amount of space with an amazing heated swimming pool with cover so totally safe for children. The house has a number of areas to relax with a large conservatory to accommodate large groups all eating together . The movie room is a great feature with access to all channels a perfect place to watch sports or a family film. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, bedding and towels for the bathrooms and pool, all kitchen equipment as well as toiletries in all bathrooms.All in all a perfect place to spend some real quality time with family or friends with an Indian and an Italian restaurant both a short walking distance from the house if you want a break from cooking. A gem of a find !! We will definitely be back thanks Phil, Diane Mike & family

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Wonderful stay at The Vicarage. Phil was was friendly and helpful from the off, on hand to help and even providing us with recommendations of places to visit. The house is beautiful and very spacious, is well looked after and has everything we needed, the highlights, of course, being the cinema room and pool. Whilst we did venture out, the kids were happy to stay in the house and just enjoy it, stating it was their best holiday ever. We are all looking forward to our next stay here.

What a wonderful house and a great weekend we had. I booked a house in Manchester and a few weeks before they let me down and said it wasn’t available, I went on a mad search to find somewhere else suitable and within budget and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find anything. Luckily Phil commented on my post with details of his lovely holiday home and he had the weekend available.

We filled the house with 16 (some kids and a baby) and it was still so spacious and always had somewhere to go to enjoy some peace. Ideal for playing games in the evening we really did have a great weekend and would highly recommend to others. The pool, jacquzzi and games area was amazing.

it was a surprise family get together for my daughter’s 18th and she had a wonderful time.

Phil was really helpful and the house has everything you need, a real home from home.

Thank you Phil, we will be back I’m sure.
